It's already almost half way through the year but it's still never to late to start a reading goal for yourself. There is still so much time left in the year to make a reading goal and accomplish it. I started a reading goal at the beginning of this year (2018) and my goal is to try and read a hundred books this year. I thought it would be fun to update all of you on how far along I am and to even share the books I've read to hopefully inspire you to read as well and give you some ideas on book choices. It is currently May and I have read sixty-seven books so far, which makes me very excited to see I am moving in the right direction to complete my goal. Once May ends I will also have some free time to read even more so I have no doubt that I will be able to accomplish my goal this year and it really makes for a fun and challenging new years resolution to take on. Now on to the books!

Its time for Monday Morning Meetings! I want to Hear all about the different things you have been reading in January. Are there any new things that you want to start reading this year?
Recently I read a book called "Teacher's Virgin" by Lexi Whitlow, which sounds like it is some steamy novel, especially with the cover. I was presently surprised however to find that instead it was a heart warming tale of finding yourself through heartache and love. It was also about rekindling long lost friendships and discovering your boundaries and pushing past them in order to succeed. At the start of this year I also started a reading goal for myself and that was to read one-hundred books by the end of 2018, which is proving to be a low number for how fast I read. Once school is in full swing again though my reading habits will probably slow down. Starting reading goals for yourself is a great way to motivate yourself to read more books. The goal could also be as low as one book this year, it is not supposed to overwhelm you! It is supposed to be a relaxing time to unwind and pamper yourself with a little you time. Relax, put your feet up, and start that book! For this Favorites For Friday I'd like to hear all about your favorite genes of books. What is your go to genre when you are looking for something to read? Also, why is it your favorite genre and how did you discover that this is your favorite genre?
My favorite genre would have to be romance and I'll read practically any book as long as it has a little romance in it. I find that this offers me the opportunity to actually dive into a lot of different genres because romance can happen in any setting from action, to thriller, sci-fi, horror, western, historical, and even paranormal book genres. I have so many different genres to choose from while still enjoying my favorite genre of books. Now I'd like to hear all about your favorite genres! So I doubt anyone has questions for me yet, but if you do this is the time and place to ask your questions. If you have any comments or suggestions as well advice is always appreciated. This is also the time in which you can let me know of anything else that you would like to see on this website or from me. I'm always happy to help. Welcome to Talk to me Tuesday, lets have a conversation!
Today I would like to hear about all the things you have been reading over the weekend, whatever it may be. It could range from things to a novel, an article, a self help, or how to book. What types of things to you love to read? You can discuss it, review it, or tell us all about it. At the bottom of the page I talked about the book I was reading over the weekend. Yesterday I finished the first installment of the series "In Darkness We Must Abide" and I just could not put it down the whole time I was reading it. It was a thrilling gothic read that I wanted to devour as fast and as slow as I could. I wanted to know what happens next but didn't want it to end at the same time. Rhiannon Frater's novel seemed to me reminiscent of other novels comparable to that of Anne Rice and her first novel enticed me to buy her second novel and I''ll probably get the all the books in her series as well. I'm excited to read the second novel but sad to see it end.
Let me know all about your favorite childhood books. What is the first book you can recall that started your love for books and helped you to become the avid reader you are today.
